cameraTo film my trailer I used a Canon Legria HF R78. This camera came with an additional lens which made the shot wider. I used this when filming my trailer as it allowed me to fit more of the setting in the shot which is effective as it made it easier to show my audience what was happening. The size of this camera also made it easy to film as it is small which was effective for when I wanted to do hand held shots.

tripodWhen taking shots that required the camera to be steady, I used a tripod. Although many of my shots in my trailer worked better being hand held, using the tripod was effective as it made my shots look more professional. This tripod was quick and easy to set up although because of the location of the scenes in my trailer it was difficult to find a flat surface to stand it on, therefore I used hand held shots a lot of the time.

cameraThe camera I used for my film trailer does not take high quality still images therefore for the images for my magazine and poster, I used a Canon EOS Rebel T7i DSLR camera. This camera took high quality pictures and allowed me to focus on the foreground or background of the shot which was effective as this was what I wanted to do on the image for my poster

adobe premiereThe software I will use to edit my trailer on is adobe premiere. Before starting my trailer, I have practised by creating a variety of short films which helped me learn how to use all the features of the software. This was effective as it has helped me understand how to work with the software before creating my final piece.

adobe photoshopTo edit the images I took for my magazine and poster, I will use Adobe Photoshop. I have had practise with this software during my AS course when I had to edit images for my magazine cover. This was helpful as I can now apply this knowledge when editing my magazine/poster images to make them of high quality as I know which effects/features work best etc.

adobe indesignThe software I will use to create my magazine and poster is Adobe InDesign which I also used last year to create my AS magazine cover. Therefore I have practised using the software and know the features. Although I have never created a poster on this software I can apply the skills I learnt to create a high quality film poster.
